Shona Kuresa
Training & Development Manager

Shona oversees the Training and Development of our Field Interviewer Team.  Having worked & trained extensively across multiple projects for over a decade, she brings a rich experience in helping develop Interviewers to be successful in their role of engaging with people from all sectors of society in data collection.  Shona is currently  also the Project Lead for the NZ Study of Adult Skills.

Mary Clark-Komene
Field Coach

Mary has a wealth of knowledge in the field having worked across several projects for many years.  This experience stands her in good sted with our contractors.  She is well versed in understanding their needs and barriers to success and supporting them to build strong resilient relationships.

Mary is passionate about collecting quality data to truly reflect the lives of New Zealanders 

Dr Jason Zhou
Project Lead NZHTS / Field Coach

Jason has more than 10 years experience in Pharmacy, Public Health and Service Design Research. His PhD was a co-design research  project with disabled people to improve accessibility in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Jason's experience working in various settings and contexts enables him to develop innovative initiatives and research leadership. His current role with Reach Aotearoa is the Field Project Lead for the New Zealand Household Transport Survey. 

 

Dr Barbara Horrell
Field Coach

Barbara brings a wealth of research experience to her role as a Field Coach. This includes data collection, research design, research project management, and peer-reviewed publications.

Having completed her PhD while working for Reach, Barbara appreciates the value of collecting quality data and its importance in the daily lives of New Zealanders.

Passionate about learning, professional development, and bringing out the best in people, she takes a caring and supportive approach towards building strong and successful relationships within the Reach team.

Glenny Bowes
Field Coach

Glenny joined Reach Aotearoa during the pandemic response and was instrumental in setting up and developing the inbound Call Centre. During this time Glenny used her skills as a project lead to develop process, activate people and ensure that key performance indicators were met.  

Glenny also has many year's experience with the health sector which she combines with her positive 'can do' attitude in the role as a Field Coach on the New Zealand Health Survey to inspire her team to reach their full potential. Glenny has a dual major in Geography and Environmental Science.

Louise Champion
Knowledge management

Louise brings a wealth of experience from business and learning focused environments to the development, communications and documentation functions of her Knowledge Manager role. Collaborating and building connections across the business, Louise oversees resources that enable our people to gain great results.
